Trip to Utah for Wheelwright Family Reunion

We had our first ever Wheelwright Family Reunion this past 4th of July weekend, 2011. It was so great to visit and see my family that I had not seen for a very long time. Also, most of the family had never seen Kaylee before, so it was great to show her off! Unfortunately, Tyler was not able to go so I was able to go with my sister Anita and her two girls. It was a long trip, but it was a fun adventure for sure! I'm not sure if I would drive that far again with three little girls, but for the most part they did pretty well. Everyone was so impressed at how well Kaylee behaved and how easy going she was. We are definitely blessed to have such a sweet little girl that everyone has fallen in love with. I can't help but brag about her just a little bit.

The day at the lake. Such a cute picture of Aunt Bonnie, Makayla and Kaylee. I got them all smiling!

Kaylee loved eating chips during our trip. It was cute to see her try to pucker her lips while she was eating her chips.

They were a little spoiled during the trip with lots of goodies and activities. But we had to keep them fed and entertained so that they would stay happy!

Anita and I were so relieved when we would get all the girls asleep at the same time. It only happened a few times, but it was so nice. :) It was such a long trip and it was hard to keep them entertained the entire time. Nap time was a good break for us.

Poor baby was so tired at the end of our beach day. She was crying and so I put her in the stroller to take her for a walk and 2 minutes later she was asleep. She slept for a little while and got her second wind. She had such a great day at the lake. It was her first time being at a lake.

Not sure if I should have let Kaylee have an oreo, but I did anyway and she loved it! She got so messy, but what the heck, we were at the lake! We got so dirty that day, so why not enjoy an oreo along with it.

The water was a little cold when we first got to the lake and I didn't think Kaylee would like it at all because she was clinging to me for dear life. Finally, I got her a bucket and shovel and she was great the rest of the day! She just needed a little warming up. :)

Kaylee all ready to go swimming with her hat, shoes, and floaties. What a cutie she is!!

Again with the chips. The girls all loved having their own bags. With food in their hands and a movie going, they were happy as can be. They did pretty well considering how long the trip was.
